2022 Annual Meeting: Winning the Narrative Panel

The Council’s premier annual event will take place April 6-8 in Point Clear, AL. With a focus on “Energy Evolution: Embracing Opportunities,” the lineup of speakers includes leaders from all sectors of the oil and gas industry who will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the current market and industry dynamics.

Along with industry-leading keynotes, speakers will share perspectives on Unlocking the Chain which includes supply chain strategies and how to partner with suppliers, and Winning the Narrative on how the industry is evolving. Sector experts will provide insights on the annual Analysts Panel, and the Political Panel will address key energy policy issues.

  • Andrea Passman, COO, Caerus Oil & Gas — Andrea Wescott Passman joined Caerus in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Caerus, Passman was the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations for CNX Resources, where she led operations and engineering for their Marcellus and Utica assets. She also led exploration and evaluation of shale plays for CNX’s international subsidiary. Passman has concentrated her career in optimization and digitization of unconventional resource plays for the last decade, holding management and engineering roles with Halliburton, Schlumberger, and U.S. independents.
  • Liz Schwarze, Vice President Exploration, Chevron — Liz Schwarze is Vice President Exploration for Chevron, a role she assumed in April 2018. In this role, she is responsible for Chevron’s worldwide exploration program. She also chairs the company’s Global Exploration Leadership Team and is a member of Chevron’s Management Committee and Upstream Leadership Team. Schwarze joined Chevron in 1990 as a development geologist in the Gulf of Mexico and has subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of exploration, reservoir management, finance, and business planning. She has worked on projects in Venezuela and Angola as well as the San Joaquin Valley and Permian Basin areas of the United States.
  • Daniel Wesson, serves as Chief Operating Officer of Diamondback Energy. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Wesson’s reporting responsibilities include reservoir engineering, geology, drilling, completions, production, midstream, oil and gas marketing, safety, and sustainability. Prior to his current position with Diamondback, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations and roles of increased responsibility since joining Diamondback in February 2012. Before joining Diamondback, Wesson served in various operations and engineering roles for BOPCO from 2010 to 2012 and ConocoPhillips from 2007 to 2010.
