Arkansas: U.S.’s Fourth Largest Shale Producer in 2013

Upstream Conventional & Unconventional Onshore Development

Arkansas is now the fourth-largest shale gas producer in the U.S., accounting for 2.8 billion cubic feet per day, or 9 percent, of production in 2013. Figures from the Energy Information Administration’s Natural Gas Annual report put the state behind only Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania in production of shale gas.
