Boom in Energy Spurs Industry in the Rust Belt

A recent article in the New York Times, “Boom in Energy Spurs Industry in the Rust Belt” tells the story of a transformation in Ohio that is driven by a surge in domestic oil and gas production.

A 2013 McKinsey study estimated that production of shale gas and tight oil from shale could help create up to 1.7 million jobs nationally. Many of those jobs are expected to end up in places like Ohio, in part because they are close to newly developed fields like the nearby Utica shale formation.

PESA is proud to support the service, supply and manufacturing companies in the energy industry that are leading these developments through their continued achievements in innovation and job creation.
