Council to Advance Worker Health, Safety with Unified Committee

The Council is combining the health and safety committees of its predecessor organizations and inviting members to join or remain as a member of the unified committee.

The Energy Workforce & Technology Council formed as a merger of PESA and AESC. Each organization had an active health and safety committee dedicated to developing, discussing and sharing best practices for safety, benchmarking and industry partnerships including those with government agencies OSHA, CDC and NIOSH.

The combined HSE Committee will focus on best practices for employee welfare and maintain relationships with government agencies. Members will benefit from the deeper reservoir of expertise the committee will be able to tap as it works to promote safety throughout the industry.

The first meeting of the unified HSE Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20 from 2-3 p.m. Central. Members will discuss the committee’s mission and strategy, as well as plans for the coming year.

If you’re interested in participating in the HSE Committee, please contact Vice President Kenny Jordan.
