PESA Announces Graduates of First ESG Certification Program: Registration Open for 2021 Program

On November 19, PESA honored graduates of the 2020 ESG Certification Program during the closing seminar. PESA’s ESG committee leadership and graduates celebrated the accomplishments of the inaugural program’s 35 graduates. The virtual graduation included key takeaways and discussion of how participants plan to implement ESG programs in their companies.

The program, the first of its kind in the oilfield services and equipment sector, presented ESG best practices and practical tips for the current environment to more than 20 companies.  With the emergence of ESG investing in recent years, PESA has taken the lead in providing the OFS sector and cross-industry partners with the tools needed to adapt and thrive. This year, PESA also established the ESG Center of Excellence, an online clearinghouse of information and resources. The certification program provided an opportunity for in-depth study of best practices and how to develop an ESG strategy for individual companies.

PESA has partnered with Envision, a global leader in corporate advising and coaching, to refine and enhance the curriculum for the second cohort of the ESG Certification Program, which will be held in 2021. The 2021 program will include four half-day sessions, an assessment tool, one-on-one executive coaching, accountability partners, quarterly networking sessions, leadership development opportunities, and facilitated cross-company discussion. The program is designed to educate participants on ESG reporting requirements, including practical guidelines on why, how and what to report. Participants will also learn how to develop a reporting strategy and framework to provide ESG investors with the information they need.
