U.S. Ambassador to Uganda Deborah Malac will host a webcast on Thursday, August 15 to present and discuss commercial opportunities in Uganda’s oil sector with U.S. companies.
Ambassador Malac will lead a 15-20 minute presentation reviewing the status of the development of Uganda’s oil sector and related infrastructure projects, as well as Uganda’s overall business environment, followed by a Q&A session.
As the Final Investment Decision for oil production is expected by the end of 2019, or early 2020, PESA Members may wish to explore the possibility of working in Uganda. Opportunities of interest to Members include:
- Construction
- Internet services
- Drilling equipment
- Drilling services
- Logistics
- Refinery services
- Pipeline sub-contractors
Participants must register with the State Department by August 13.
