PESA Partners with UH on Return to Work Study

States across the country are starting to re-open businesses and energy companies are working to do the same. For energy workers doing field and offshore work, much has stayed the same over the past months. Layoffs and furloughs have affected many. Others have been working from home while also juggling family and elder care demands.

Will you take 10 minutes of your time to provide your perspective on what a healthy return to work would look like from your perspective? For field workers who have been working all along, what are things that have worked well in your eyes that other businesses can learn? What are things to avoid? And for those of you who were laid off, what have your experiences been and how do they affect your perspective on the energy industry?

PESA is partnering with an international research team consisting of researchers from the University of Houston and Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, UK) in conducting this study.

Specifically, the study aims to:

  • Identify best practices for the return to work in the energy industry.
  • Provide energy companies with data-driven recommendations guiding the return to work based on the perspectives of field/offshore workers and workers who have worked from home over the past weeks.
  • Learn from the experiences of workers who were laid off.

As a small incentive, we will have 5 raffles for $100 Amazon.com gift cards for survey participants. Will you share your expertise with our team and provide critical information on your work experiences in the energy industry, and your outlook on the return to work?
