PESA Perspective(2015)

PESA President Leslie Beyer

PESA President Leslie Beyer

In the short year since I’ve joined PESA, we’ve seen some exciting developments. An entirely new brand contributes to the modern look of our association, and enhanced member resources like our redesigned website and developed social channels will expand our presence in the industry. We have streamlined our board structure, developed new policy committees, added two new Regional Districts: West TX/South TX and the Northeast, and strengthened partnerships with advocacy groups at customer companies and aligned trade associations. Yet while we are certainly focused on striving ahead, prioritizing the foundation of the association remains a key goal.

Three years ago, you laid out the job creation, innovation and security themes that this sector provides to the energy industry. Based on those tenants, PESA will become a stronger advocate for oilfield service, supply and manufacturing companies. Promoting sector positions on issues that will impact our business is a top priority for any trade association, and we are no different.

Our mission is to serve as the unifying voice for the service and supply sector, bring awareness to critical issues and advocate on our members’ behalf. My vision is for PESA to be recognized as the go-to voice and resource for our sector. Thank you for trusting me to honor the past and build on the foundation of this great association. And please come see us in our new office soon!
