PESA Supply Chain Committee Targets Sharing Best Practices in 2018

Last year, the PESA Supply Chain Committee held several committee roundtables in an effort to create a forum where members can discuss timely issues relevant to supply chain. The roundtables have been successful, giving members an opportunity to openly discuss solutions and best practices in an informal setting.  These events have also been a way to promote engagement across the committee.

The PESA Supply Chain Committee will be opening attendance to all PESA members to the committee roundtables in 2018.  The roundtables, hosted at a member company facility, include discussion around a current topic effecting Supply Chain. Most recently, the committee engaged in a discussion about digitalization which provided valuable insight on what is driving technology in today’s oil and gas industry and what role supply chain plays as digitalization revolutionizes the industry.

In addition to the roundtables, the Supply Chain is planning on hosting a joint event with the PESA Credit Interchange Division (CID) with a focus on eCommerce.  This collaboration will give attendees an opportunity to discuss synergies and strategies between supply chain and credit management systems within their organizations.

The PESA Supply Chain Committee includes representation from Alix Partners, Baker Hughes, a GE company, DistributionNOW, Ellwood Group, Forged Products, Fox Metals & Alloys, Galtway Industries, Gardner Denver, M&M Forgings, Newpark Drilling Fluids, NOV, Oceaneering, OFS Portal, Premier Pipe, Rubicon, Sigma Fasteners and TETRA Technologies.
