PESA is committed to leading in a way that cultivates respect and racial equality.
In 2018 we launched a diversity benchmarking study, which showed us in stark terms the need for significant focus on gender and ethnic diversity within the OFS workforce. Based on these findings and resulting recommendations, we created the PESA Inclusion & Diversity Business Champion Certification program, bringing together industry leaders and participants to identify opportunities for inclusion, equity and diversity growth.
Although the current cohort of the 2020 PESA Inclusion & Diversity Business Champion Certification program is already in place, we are reopening registration to provide companies and individuals the opportunity to make actionable change and create a culture of inclusion. PESA will adjust the curriculum to provide a make-up session to get new attendees up to speed on the program, which culminates in November.
We must commit to educating ourselves on the very real unconscious bias that exists in all of us. At PESA, we embrace our responsibility to advance the respect required to enact justice and ensure equality within our area of influence. PESA will do our part to listen, learn and create solutions toward positive change.
