Antitrust Policy

The objectives and activities of the Association shall at all times comply with the applicable laws of the United States of America, its states and local jurisdictions. This compliance shall include strict adherence to the requirements of all antitrust laws including the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act, and the Federal Trade Commission Act as currently enacted. All members and their representatives are responsible for adhering to these requirements and avoiding even the appearance of impropriety in the way their activities are conducted.

In order to effectuate the foregoing policy, Energy Workforce & Technology Council established guidelines for the conduct of its members during conferences, meetings, and conventions which shall be strictly adhered to by each member and their representatives. If questions arise as to whether a proposed course of conduct complies with the law and this policy, guidance shall be sought from the Chair, President, or Corporate Counsel Committee of the Council.
