Upstream Conventional & Unconventional Onshore Development
The California Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources recently issued final proposed regulations on well stimulation, as mandated by Senate Bill 4, the law signed by Governor Jerry Brown in September 2013 that set basic fracking standards for the state. These new regulations, which will become effective on July 1, 2015, replace the emergency interim fracking rules that have been in effect since January 2014.
