The Council’s Middle East Chapter, led by Daniel Watson, Energy Alloys, held its spring chapter meeting focused on decarbonization at the Four Seasons in Dubai hosted by Cummins Arabia in partnership with the Dubai Chamber.
Speakers Amit Dev Wankhede, Vice President Strategy, ADNOC Distribution and Dr. Nasser H. Saidi, Chairman, Clean Energy Business Council addressed the future of decarbonization in the oil and gas industry followed by a discussion on tangible strategies and considerations for energy service companies.
Alan Zhao, Director – New Power Business, Cummins Africa Middle East Region, joined Wankhede and Saidi for the panel discussion moderated by Shanila Bhatty, Cummins Arabia. The meeting provided attendees an opportunity to connect with experts in areas related to the reduction of emissions in the production of oil and gas and the scaling of new energies, including renewables.
The Chapter is planning its fall chapter meeting during ADIEPC 2022 between October 31 and November 3.
