Most in-person workplace events are going virtual as a result of the global pandemic, and PESA held its first-ever virtual networking session on April 9, bringing more than 50 people together from numerous companies.
The Emerging Executives Committee and Executive Leadership Program participants regularly attend in-person quarterly networking events, aimed at forging ties between students of the three programs. The virtual event allowed an even greater number of participants to attend.
The meeting allowed for introductions, jokes and anecdotal exchanges, and an atmosphere that allowed participants a break from the current stressful climate. Some participants introduced family members ranging from toddlers to pets, providing easy ice-breakers to keep the conversation going.
