PESA welcomed Occidental Petroleum President – Americas Vicki Hollub as the guest speaker for our Gulf Coast-Texas District Meeting held December 11 at the The Westin Houston, Memorial City. Ms. Hollub shared the strategic plans and challenges for Occidental’s domestic operations. The event was hosted by Gulf Coast-Texas District Chairman Burk Ellison of DistributionNOW.
Immediately before the Gulf Coast – TX District meeting PESA held a briefing with Rick Westerdale, Director of the U.S. State Department’s Energy Resources Bureau’s Policy Analysis and Public Diplomacy Office. Rick discussed issues surrounding Iraq and Syria/Counter-ISIL Engagements, including oil smuggling and revenues in relation to regional oil trade.
