2025 FLY IN: Energy Workforce & Technology Council Heads to DC

Industry executives set to engage with over 45 members of Congress and top Administration officials on critical energy policy reforms

WASHINGTON, D.C. -Over 45 members of the Energy Workforce & Technology Council (EWTC) are headed to Washington, D.C., on February 25-27 for their annual fly-in. Attendees are comprised of executives from EWTC Member companies, representing the full spectrum of the energy services sector.

During the annual event, EWTC members will engage with over 45 lawmakers from top energy-producing states on both sides of the aisle and in addition to senior administration officials from the Department of Energy, Department of Interior, Department of State, and The White House.

With global demand for energy resources growing daily, EWTC members will discuss permitting reform, codifying executive orders through congressional action, access to federal lands and waters for oil and gas leasing, and actions that can be included in reconciliation, including repealing of the methane tax and CRA, and the implications of ongoing global geopolitical conflicts.

“With true advocates like Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum at the helm in Washington, there has never been a more exciting time for American energy,” said Energy Workforce President Tim Tarpley. “As EWTC members head to DC, we are encouraged by the progress already made to unleash American energy. We look forward to working with Congress to solidify many of these policies into law and to pass compressive permitting reform as soon as possible.”

“There is no doubt that the energy industry is one of the first to feel the real-life impacts of federal policy handed down from Washington, D.C.,” said Energy Workforce President Molly Determan. “No industry does more to power the United States and its allies. We look forward to bringing firsthand insights from EWTC Members to Washington to tell the story of the energy services sector to our elected officials.”
