The Council’s premier annual event will take place September 15-17 in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM. With a focus on “Adapting to Thrive,” the lineup of speakers includes leaders from all sectors of the oil and gas industry who will share their thoughts on how businesses can leverage the economic recovery to take full advantage of opportunities presented by the transition to a lower carbon energy future.
The Workforce Panel will bring together industry leaders to analyze how new and innovative technologies will change the workforce of the future. Panelists include:
- Tracee Bentley, President & CEO, Permian Strategic Partnership – With extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, Bentley leads the Permian Strategic Partnership, a first of its kind collaboration between local communities and oil and gas companies operating in the Permian Basin.
- Jason Pigott, President & CEO, Laredo Petroleum – Pigott has more than 20 years of experience in the energy exploration and production industry, including two years as top executive of Laredo Petroleum, and a variety of roles with Chesapeake Energy and Anadarko Petroleum.
- Justin Bliffen, Founder & CEO, Brigade Energy Services – A former Navy SEAL and graduate of the Naval Academy, Bliffen founded Brigade and serves in key leadership roles in the energy technology and services sector.
- Jeff Shellebarger, Chairman, 23rd World Petroleum Congress, Kinder Institute for Urban Research Advisory Board Member – Shellebarger was responsible for Chevron’s oil and natural gas exploration and production operations in the U.S. and Canada. During his 35-year career, he has held leadership and technical positions in the upstream segment in regions around the world.
Erin Clark, Managing Director and U.S. National Leader for Deloitte Human Capital Consulting, an expert on corporate and business strategy, especially in the areas of capability transformation, human capital strategy and executive development, will serve as moderator.
