
Houston, TX – Energy Workforce & Technology Council (EWTC) is proud to announce the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors and three new members to its Advisory Board. These distinguished professionals bring decades of industry experience and leadership to their roles.
Board of Directors Appointment
Mark Dawson, Senior Vice President, Completion & Production Division, Halliburton, has been appointed to the EWTC Board of Directors.
Previously, he served as vice president of the Halliburton Completion Tools product service line. He is a member of the Halliburton executive committee. Mark joined Halliburton in 1997 as a completions engineer in Louisiana. Since then, he has held various operations, business development, and management roles in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Mark holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Tulane University, and he is a 2009 graduate of the President’s Leadership Excellence Program.
Advisory Board Appointments
EWTC is also pleased to welcome three new members to its Advisory Board. These industry leaders will provide guidance and strategic advice to help advance the Council’s mission of supporting workforce development and innovation in energy technology.
Scott McCurdy, Chief Executive Officer, Encino Environmental Services.
Scott McCurdy has served as Chief Executive Officer of Encino Environmental since 2022. Scott also serves on the board of directors of Sensia Solutions, a Madrid, Spain based manufacturer of Optical Gas Imaging systems and Satlantis, LLC, a Bilbao, Spain based provider of methane detection satellite systems, both of which Encino has made investments in during Scott’s tenure. His 25-year career includes global experience in executive roles in energy services and environmental and currently works to support energy companies in their efforts to improve environmental performance. He holds a bachelor’s and masters degree in accounting from Baylor University.
Andy McDowell, President, Upright Digital
Andy McDowell serves as the President of Upright Digital, a cutting-edge global strategic marketing agency dedicated to serving their clients and driving value for their success. With a focus on innovation and growth, Andy spearheads the strategic vision, overseeing the expansion of marketing services, industry-defining events, and a thriving global podcast network. With over 18 years of experience in business-to-business energy media, Andy’s career is deeply rooted in his tenure at Gulf Energy Information, a legacy organization with over a century of history. Andy holds a BBA in marketing from Texas Christian University. In his spare time, he loves spending time outdoors with his wife and their two daughters, aged 15 and 13.
Todd Ennenga, Director of Government Affairs, Halliburton
Todd Ennenga has over 20 years of experience managing Government Affairs, business development and community outreach programs in the upstream oil and gas and energy technology sectors. Currently Todd is the Director of Government Affairs for Halliburton based in Houston Texas where he manages local, state and federal legislative and regulatory issues as well as international affairs. Prior to Halliburton, Todd Served as VP of Business Development and Government Affairs with Purestream Technology. Before joining Purestream, Todd served as Director of Policy and Government Affairs for Devon Energy for 11 years. Todd holds a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Wyoming.
