The Onshore Operator’s Perspective Panel brings together industry leaders and innovators who have shaped the landscape of onshore operations. Together, they will lead an in-depth discussion on the future of onshore energy.

Wendy King, Vice President, Gulf Coast & Rockies
Wendy King is vice president, Gulf Coast and Rockies at ConocoPhillips, overseeing the development and operations of the Eagle Ford and Bakken assets. Since joining ConocoPhillips as a petroleum engineer, she has held key technical and leadership roles across the U.S., U.K., Australia, and Africa, including VP roles in Alaska, Australia Pacific LNG, and the Gulf Coast and Great Plains business units.
King serves on the boards of the Texas Oil and Gas Association and Performing Arts Houston. She holds a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Rod Henson, Vice President-Wells, ExxonMobil
Rod Henson is Vice President of the Wells organization for ExxonMobil, responsible for global drilling, completions, and well servicing, as well as seismic acquisition. He holds a BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering and has over 30 years’ experience in the energy industry.
Rod first joined ExxonMobil (Mobil) as a production engineer in Midland, Texas. In his early career, he advanced through various technical and leadership roles throughout the United States, Indonesia, the Middle East, and Russia. In 2014, he joined ExxonMobil subsidiary XTO Energy to set up their Argentina Division, XTO Energy’s first operation outside of North America. Prior to his current position, he served as the President of ExxonMobil’s Guyana affiliate, Esso Exploration & Production Guyana Limited.

Cody Campbell, Co-CEO & Co-Founder, Double Eagle Energy Holdings
Cody Campbell is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Double Eagle Energy Holdings IV LLC, a partnership formed with Apollo Global Management and co-founder of Double Eagle Development.
Campbell began his business career as a student at Texas Tech University, where he and John Sellers founded a successful commercial real estate development firm. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s in finance and economics and a master’s in finance. After graduation, he played offensive guard for the Indianapolis Colts.
Campbell is a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), serves on the Advisory Council for the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech and serves as a Board Member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. He lives in Fort Worth with his wife and four children.
