EWTC President Molly Determan Champions Workforce Strategies at Gastech

Energy Workforce President Molly Determan joined industry leaders at Gastech to represent energy services and equipment companies by leading a panel discussion on the future of workforce, participating in a panel on leadership strategies and joining a series of roundtable discussions tackling key workforce challenges and opportunities.

From strengthening the pipeline of talent to fostering innovation across every level of the business, these conversations elevate the OFS sector and highlight how energy services companies can remain competitive in today’s industrial economy.

Molly discussed workforce solutions that EWTC member companies are deploying to equip our workforce, support energy leadership, and drive innovation from the ground up.

The Future Leaders panel provided mentorship and insight to the next generation of energy professionals.

The session gave rising leaders the chance to sharpen their networking skills, build connections, and engage directly with industry executives.

Throughout her conversations, Molly shared her perspective and encouraged future leaders as they prepare to take on critical roles in keeping our energy workforce competitive.

Following the roundtables, Determan moderated a panel on Nurturing the Workforce of Tomorrow Through Upskilling and Retention Strategies.

With insights from Dr. Sophia Horsfall (NLNG), Stuart Lacey (Deep Fission), Dena Wiggins (Natural Gas Supply Association) and Eyono Fatayi-Williams (Women In Energy Network), the panel tackled how to strengthen retention, provide meaningful training opportunities, and build a future-ready workforce.

As moderator, Molly emphasized the importance of practical workforce solutions and guided the conversation toward actionable strategies to maintain energy, strength and competitiveness.
