EWTC President Molly Determan to Moderate WGLC Panel on the Role of Advocacy in Energy Leadership

Energy Workforce & Technology Council President Molly Determan will moderate a fireside chat on the evolving role of advocacy in energy leadership at the Women’s Global Leadership Conference in Energy (WGLC).

The session, “The Many Dimensions of Advocacy: Elevating Industry, Influence & Your Own Voice,” will explore why advocacy has become an essential leadership skill in today’s energy landscape.

Determan will be joined by Jaimie Harding, Vice President of Communications at TC Energy, for a conversation examining how leaders can effectively advocate across multiple fronts, from championing the role of energy in society and navigating stakeholder expectations to advancing strategic priorities within their organizations and strengthening their own influence at the leadership table.

The discussion will also explore the unique perspective of women leaders in energy and how authenticity, credibility and confidence can help leaders ensure their voices and ideas are heard in critical conversations.

As President of Energy Workforce & Technology Council, Determan leads the national trade association representing the energy services and technology sector and its more than 625,000 U.S. workers. She serves as a leading advocate for the sector’s role in delivering the technology, expertise and workforce needed to meet growing global energy demand.
