The IPAA/PESA Energy Education Center is calling for PESA Members to create a short video to support STEM teachers and students during the 2020-21 school year.
These videos will be used in high school classrooms to educate and inspire a diverse group of students. Examples of careers that interest students include:
- Engineering
- Landman
- Geologist
- Supply Chain Management
- Business Development
- Chemist
- Rig Worker
- Environmental and Regulatory Specialist
- Cyber Security
- IT Specialist
- Technician Roles
Members should create and submit a short video with discussion topics such as:
- Your journey from high school through college
- Why you chose your major or the energy industry
- Personal/professional challenges and lessons learned
- What you do on a daily basis
- Lessons in leadership
- And more
