The Energy Workforce Oklahoma Chapter, led by Vice Chair Andy Horner, US Account Director with SLB held a luncheon at the Hamm Institute for American Energy in Oklahoma City on September 18.
Energy Workforce Director of Communications Karina Erickson kicked off the luncheon, giving the attendees an update on the ongoing House, Senate and Presidential races and policies that each of the administrations will potentially implement.
The luncheon featured a fireside chat with Kevin Turner, Emissions Program Manager with Continental Resources and Ryan Spangler, Area Sales Manager with Kimray to discuss emissions regulations and how operators work through the ever-changing regulatory landscape and prepare teams for these changes.
Energy Workforce Advisory Board Member, Jim Wicklund, Managing Director, Client Relations & Business Development at PPHB gave a comprehensive market outlook and noted that the oil & gas industry is highly technical, exceptionally critical and will be here for a very long time. Jim noted that as with any business or society, we must change, adapt, and innovate to keep up and stay ahead.
