Energy Workforce President Molly Determan spoke in Midland last week to the Women of ProPetro Services, a group of 150 women working in a variety of roles across the organization.
Determan talked about values driven leadership and navigating your career while staying true to your core values. She suggested rethinking your leadership image; increasing your self-awareness; assessing your values; taking action, but also utilizing a support network; and working on communications and transparency.
“Identify the personal values most important to you and whenever you’re unsure of your next step, you can always reevaluate how your decision would align with your values.”
Molly Determan, President, Energy Workforce & Technology Council
Determan also discussed how companies use organizational values to set expectations and align their teams. This is especially critical when having crucial conversations because everyone understands the common purpose of the organization through the shared values.
