Grateful to be in Florence last week for the Baker Hughes Annual Meeting 2026 The Energy Equation.
It was valuable to bring the workforce and service-sector perspective into conversations that directly affect the companies and people doing the work across the energy value chain.
I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to two leadership forums focused on how policy, technology and execution come together in practice:
🚢 LNG Allies Luncheon with leaders from industry, policy, and finance, including EXIM Bank focused on what it will take to move U.S. LNG projects forward amid changing methane rules, permitting reform and global infrastructure needs.
🟢 Leadership Circle on the Circular Economy: looking at how energy technology connects with water and food systems and why resilience has to be built across the whole chain, not in silos.
Across the week, one theme kept coming up: plans only matter if they can be carried out with proven technology, regulatory clarity and a workforce ready to deliver.
Thanks to Baker Hughes for bringing together leaders from industry, government and the public sector for thoughtful, useful conversations.
