From market swings to emerging technologies, the energy industry demands a workforce that can adapt quickly and lead decisively. Energy Workforce’s leadership and training programs prepare professionals to meet that challenge with agility and confidence.
Members and non-members are invited to the “Leveraging Workforce Development Programs for 2027” webinar on October 30 to learn more about the 2027 programs and their providers. Heidrick & Struggles, FranklinCovey, Opportune, Accenture and VectisOS will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the programs as well as trending topics.
If you are involved in budget planning for the coming year, this session is a chance to make sure your employees are strategically equipped to perform at their best. The webinar will detail offerings including leadership development programs, industry overviews, topical seminars, technical training, business and professional skills seminars, and best practice sharing.
Energy Workforce has several opportunities to develop leadership skills, starting with the year-long Executive Leadership Program, which provides an external opportunity for high-potential personnel to engage in a structured year-long program that will develop key competencies and skills for their current role and prepare them for responsibilities of their next role.

WORKFORCE
Two programs serve those in operations and at the frontline. The Frontline Leadership Program and Core Leadership Program return in 2027 as two-day courses built for new leaders learning to lead the people they used to work beside. Frontline will be offered in Midland, while Core Leadership will be held in Houston and on the East Coast.
New this year for alumni of the Frontline or Core Leadership programs is Next Level Leadership, a one-day program designed for leaders who are looking for practical ways to manage the growing demands within their roles and ways to build a team to take greater ownership.
The webinar will also highlight in-person and virtual programs such as Sales & Business Development, Finance for Non-Finance Professionals and 7 Habits for Highly Effective People.
ADDITIONAL OFFERINGS
Presenters will highlight industry-specific training, including the Oil & Gas 101 seminar, and the benefits of best practice sharing and networking. The session will close with EWTC’s hands-on technical training, along with specialized workshops and seminars that address emerging challenges and opportunities in the industry.
