PESA Board Member, Andrew Way, President & CEO, Exterran, kicked off PESA’s 2020 Executive Leadership Program, sponsored by the Emerging Executives Committee. The program enters a sixth consecutive year with 94 participants – its largest group to-date.
The 2020 Executive Leadership Program, which launched February 25, provides an opportunity for high-potential personnel to engage in a structured year-long program that develops leadership skills in preparation for the responsibilities of future roles.
[su_quote cite=”PESA VP Strategy & Programs Molly Determan”]”With more than 400 program participants from 60 leading companies in its first five years, PESA continues to elevate the industry by investing in the next generation of industry leaders. The Executive Leadership Program has become an essential tool in PESA Member Company professional development strategies.” [/su_quote]
The Advanced Business Development course helps participants develop the skills, behaviors, and confidence to address client needs and develop long-term relationships. The training gives participants a range of business development and sales techniques to adopt a confident consultative and solutions-based approach when selling.
The Engaging Leadership course focuses on identifying strategies to create a collaborative, resilient workplace. Attendees develop strong communication methods and explore the difference between being a leader and a boss. The Permian Basin also hosts an Engaging Leadership course in Midland, TX.
[su_quote cite=”Engaging Leadership Course Participant”]”One key learning I’m taking away from this course is to implement a vision model with my team to drive thinking and success within my organization.” [/su_quote]

The new Strategic & Branded Executive course offers leaders and high-potential executives the tools to enhance their executive brand and presence, and equips leaders with strategic planning tools, processes and skills to guide any size organization or corporation toward its true potential.
[su_quote cite=”Strategic & Branded Executive Course Participant”]”I would recommend this course to a colleague because it is insightful and dynamic in creative thinking for future development.” [/su_quote]
[su_quote cite=”Strategic & Branded Executive Course Participant”]”My primary reason for taking this course is to focus on being more strategic in my career, and the seminar is helping me learn strategic styles.” [/su_quote]
Pat Lipovski, International Executive Specialist, Envision Group, led the initial seminars with co-facilitators from Envision Group, an innovative global leader in corporate advising and coaching. The seminars were held at Exterran.
In addition to the biannual seminars, participants must engage in leadership development outside their company and attend two PESA Leadership Meetings, such as the bimonthly Leadership Forums. One of the most important elements of the program is the mentorship provided by the PESA Board and Advisory Board Members, giving participants a unique opportunity to gain strategic career advice and develop valuable relationships with industry leaders.
[su_quote cite=”Participating Member Company Executive Leadership Team”]“The feedback we’ve received reflects increased productivity, better employee engagement, a higher-quality of decision making, and an avenue to nurture future leaders.” [/su_quote]
