The newly-formed PESA International Trade Policy Committee monitors ongoing policies and regulations affecting the oilfield service and supply chain sector, and recommends the appropriate response on behalf of PESA membership. These responses include submitting written comments, statements and scheduling meetings with elected officials and Administration representatives. The committee chairman also works with other trade groups representing the oil and gas industry as a member of the Cooperating Associations (IPAA, NOIA, API, IADC, HEITC, etc.) to provide written comments on trade issues affecting PESA member companies either directly or indirectly. Committee Co-Chairmen Ellen Smith, Global Trade Compliance, Baker Hughes, and Doug Polk, VP of Industry Relations, Vallourec USA lead this committee.
