The International Trade Administration (ITA) recently released its 2017 Top Markets Report for the Upstream Oil and Gas (O&G) Equipment sector. The report provides market intelligence to U.S. companies and informs policy-makers on O&G markets where U.S. Government resources may help to increase equipment exports.
The report ranks 151 markets based on export potential for U.S. O&G equipment through 2020. Markets ranked high represent those countries with significant potential for increased exports. The report provides detailed analysis on 3 key regions – North America, The Caspian Sea and West Africa – and six countries – Australia, Brazil, Guyana, India, Kuwait and Singapore.
PESA’s International Trade Policy Subcommittee reviewed the 2016 edition of the report and provided ITA suggestions for improving the 2017 edition. ITA welcome PESA member companies’ feedback on the May 2017 report; feedback can be submitted to PESA Sr. Director of Public Policy, Jean Gould.
