The Energy Workforce Latin America Chapter will host its annual reception at the Palacio Bosch in Buenos Aires on September 13 during the Argentina Oil & Gas Expo. This invitation-only reception, now in its fourth year, provides Energy Workforce Member Companies with the opportunity to build their Latin American networks and strengthen relationships with key U.S. and Argentine government officials.
In 2022, the reception included Argentine energy leaders, including Governor of Neuquen Omar Gutierrez and Provincial Minister of Energy Alejandro Monteiro, as well as leading regional executives from the energy industry, including Eric Dunning, Country Manager, Chevron; Daniel de Nigris, Argentina Country Manager, ExxonMobil; and Sergio Affronti, CEO, YPF.
The Latin America Chapter continues to expand its steering committee and breadth of engagement both in-region and in the U.S. Most recently, Energy Workforce hosted a delegation of U.S. Ambassadors from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay in May to meet with energy services and technology sector leaders. Ambassadors leading the delegation were Marc R. Stanley (Argentina), Bernadette Meehan (Chile), and Heide Fulton (Uruguay).
