Members Gain Insight Into 2024 Workforce Development Programs

Energy Workforce Members learned how to leverage the new 2024 workforce development programs during a webinar on December 7. Program content providers from Heidrick & Struggles, FranklinCovey, Pickering Energy Partners and Leader’s Edge Consulting were available to discuss the programs and answer questions.

For those who are involved in budget planning for the upcoming year, watch this webinar to ensure your employees are strategically equipped for optimal performance.

Energy Workforce President Molly Determan and Human Resources Committee Vice Chair Kelly Munson, DistributionNOW, kicked off the webinar, outlining the programs and introducing the content providers.

Advisory Board Member Doug Orr, Heidrick & Struggles, discussed two of the Executive Leadership Program courses – Integrated Leadership: Leading With Influence, Agility & Accountability and Cultivating High-Performing Teams & Cultures – as well as the Field-Level and Operations-Level Leadership Programs.

Daryl Fingers, FranklinCovey, dived into the third Executive Leadership Program course – Helping Clients Succeed – as well as the Building Business Acumen program.

The 2024 ESG Certification Program has three paths – the year-long course, foundational classes and two deep dive classes. Dan Romito, Pickering Energy Partners, explained each course and the outcomes participants can expect from the program.

Shanta Eaden, Leader’s Edge Consulting CEO and Energy Workforce Engagement Committee Member, described the Culture & Inclusion Leadership Development Program, which explores and unlocks the power and impact of organizational culture and success for its employees.

Finally, President Molly Determan addressed the popular Oil & Gas 101 seminar, including who would be good candidates to attend the training and what the course will cover.

Energy Workforce & Technology Council offers a range of programs designed to educate, empower, and elevate current and future leaders in the energy industry. These programs aim to provide participants with the tools they need to grow and evolve the energy industry, enhance its reputation, and position it as a driver of the global economy.
