Member Companies had a strong showing at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC)
PESA hosted an Iraqi delegation that visited the booths of several Members, including CAT, NOV, Weir and Gardner Denver. The delegation included Karim Hattab Jaafar, Deputy Minister for Upstream Affairs, Ministry of Oil, as well as members of the Basra Oil Company, South Gas Company, State Organization for Marketing of Oil and the Iraqi Oil Tankers Company.
Timmy Davis, U.S. Consul General, Basrah, Iraq, and Erin Walsh, Assistant Secretary for Global Markets and Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, also joined the tour.
The delegation visited several booths where PESA Members integrated PESA Membership affiliation into the design of their booths to support and promote the Association and align their organization with the national association for the oilfield service, supply and manufacturing sector.
