PESA Government Affairs and International Trade Policy Subcommittees Host Meetings with Key Stakeholders

The PESA Government Affairs Subcommittee, co-chaired by Kevin Crowley, Forged Products, and Tom Moyers, Cameron, a Schlumberger Company, have several significant activities planned this fall. Members will participate in PESA’s first Executive Washington Fly-In which will be held September 26-28. Meeting are scheduled with House and Senate members from both parties, as well as key officials from the Trump Administration, promoting the innovation and job creation of the oilfield service and supply sector.

On Thursday, October 5, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., the Subcommittee will host Ecuador Minister of Hydrocarbons Carlos Peréz for a leadership dialogue in Houston. The Minister will be accompanied by Secretary of Hydrocarbons Francisco Rendon. This event will be held at Baker Hughes, a GE Company.

The Subcommittee will hold its next meeting on Friday, October 13 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at PESA’s office. Items on the agenda include tax reform, offshore leasing and regulatory initiatives. Companies on the Government Affairs Subcommittee include:

Members of the International Trade Policy Subcommittee, which is chaired by Doug Polk, Vallourec, will participate in the Fly-In and the Ecuador leadership dialogue. The Trade Policy Subcommittee will hold its next meeting on October 10 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at PESA’s office. Negotiations on the North America Free Trade Agreement will be the top item on the agenda. Companies on this Subcommittee include:
