Attracting and retaining talent in an industry that is subject to fluctuating commodity prices is not easy. PESA Human Resources Committee Chair Dave Warnick, Vice President, Human Resources, Weir Oil & Gas, told the Houston Chronicle that mentoring programs, flexible work environments and adjustable schedules keep tenured workers at companies longer, giving them the opportunities to mentor future generations.
Warnick will be speaking at the upcoming PESA Roundtable: Developing Culture on May 15. Elspeth Inglis, Global HR Executive – Culture Leader, Baker Hughes, a GE company, and Leah Carter, University Affairs Manager, Halliburton, will also speak. Registration is still available for the event.
