PESA to Host Silica Webinar: Best Practices for Compliance

OSHAOn June 23, 2018, the oil and gas industry was required to be in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) new standards for respirable crystalline silica. The standard was created to combat crystalline silica exposure at general industry and maritime operations, which can cause adverse health effects to employees who are exposed.

The PESA Environmental Policy Committee will host a webinar on January 22 to review the basics of the standard and take an in-depth look at key sections and definitions within it. Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session and discussion. Registration is open to Members and non-members.

If you have any questions or would like more information on the webinar, please contact Michael Edwards, Director Government Affairs.
