Well Servicing Magazine to Focus on ESG in Summer Issue

Well Servicing Magazine logoThis August, the Council will release the first edition of Well Servicing Magazine since the PESA/AESC merger. Well Servicing is the Council’s flagship publication and will focus on the issues and technologies shaping the future of energy from the perspective of leaders in the technology and services sector of the oil and gas industry.

The summer issue will have an ESG theme and include articles authored by professionals within the sector, including Schlumberger, Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, Mustang Cat, Frank’s International and PwC. The cover story is a conversation between Council co-chairs Rod Larson, Oceaneering, and Gay Wathen, NOV Inc., with CEO Leslie Beyer and COO Molly Determan. In addition, the upcoming magazine includes analysis of government actions affecting the sector from SVP Government Affairs Tim Tarpley, and ESG best practices from Senior Advisor Andy Knapp.

Well Servicing has an authoritative and respected history as a resource that educates, informs and inspires,” Determan said. “We’re going to build on that legacy to continue providing vital information to more than 15,000 readers engaged in energy production.”

The magazine will cover topics such as leadership and innovation, management and operations, federal and state policy, workforce development, HSEQ, emerging technology, innovation, diversity and inclusion, supply chain and more. Each issue will highlight the innovative solutions provided by the men and women of this sector and demonstrate the sector’s essential role in providing the clean, affordable and abundant energy the world needs.
