World Oil Names Beyer to Editorial Advisory Board

Energy Workforce & Technology Council CEO Leslie Beyer

World Oil, a leading source of upstream oil and gas news and technology information, has appointed Energy Workforce & Technology Council CEO Leslie Beyer to its Editorial Advisory Board. In that role, Beyer will provide insight and guidance to World Oil’s approach to covering the oil and gas industry in an era of energy transition.

“I’m excited to take a leadership role with World Oil, which does important work reporting on this vital sector of the world economy,” Beyer said. “How we tell the industry’s story will be critical to the future of this industry, to the millions who lack access to reliable energy, and to so many that use our products that elevate the standard of living.”

Advisory board members are experts from the industry and academia. The group brings unique thoughts, insights and experience to the table that influence editorial direction and focus. The board consists of 17 members who serve for terms of varying years or at the pleasure of the World Oil editors.

“We are pleased to add Leslie to our Editorial Advisory Board,” said World Oil Editor-in-Chief Kurt Abraham. “She brings a wealth of industry experience to our board, and has great analytical skills and judgment, when it comes to assessing important industry issues. We have worked with Leslie on several projects over the last few years, and we value her input and creativity.”
