On November 18, the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conversation Commission voted to recommend an increase in the minimum allowable distance between drilling operations and dwellings from 350 feet to 500 feet. Citizens groups maintain the increase is insufficient to protect homeowners. Industry representatives stated they are assessing the impact the proposal will have on operations.
