The Council’s premier annual event will take place September 15-17 in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM. With a focus on “Adapting to Thrive,” the lineup of speakers includes leaders from all sectors of the oil and gas industry who will share their thoughts on how businesses can leverage the economic recovery to take full advantage of opportunities presented by the transition to a lower carbon energy future.
New Mexico Cabinet Secretary Sarah Cottrell Propst, Department of Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources, will discuss challenges and opportunities in New Mexico with Council SVP Government Affairs and Counsel Tim Tarpley.
- Sarah Cottrell Propst, Secretary, New Mexico, Department of Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources — Propst was appointed by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham to serve in her cabinet in January 2019. Her background includes leading Interwest Energy Alliance, a nonprofit representing leading renewable energy companies, and she has deep expertise in energy and environmental policy.
The Annual Meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa.
