2025 Supply Chain Conference: Resilient Strategies in Focus

The Energy Workforce Supply Chain Committee, led by Ryan Carr of Kodiak Gas, recently met to finalize plans for the upcoming annual Supply Chain conference, scheduled for September 9. This year’s event, titled Resilient Energy Supply Chains – Navigating the Path Ahead,” will serve as a platform for member companies to share strategies for improving efficiency, optimizing performance, and enhancing collaboration with customers and vendors.

A key feature of past conferences, the Customer Panel, will once again spotlight collaboration between suppliers and operators. Panelists will explore how supply chain involvement has evolved in decision-making, and will discuss topics such as accurate demand planning, improved forecasting, stronger supplier relationships and communication.

As companies evaluate global strategies and respond to shifting market conditions, this year’s conference will also include focused breakout sessions designed to foster interactive dialogue. Expected topics are:

  • Raw and finished products
  • Gas turbine supply chains for power generation
  • Power demand trends in key basins
  • Global strategy and sourcing
  • Legal CLE session
  • Updates on international trade compliance

Attendees can register for the conference online or contact Maria Suarez-Simmons, VP Energy Policy, for more information.

The Supply Chain Committee meets quarterly to address current challenges affecting member supply chain operations and to share best practices. In addition to organizing the annual conference, the committee offers members opportunities to learn directly from industry peers and customers.

Quarterly meetings are hosted at Member Company facilities to encourage networking, knowledge sharing, and showcasing of best-in-class operations. Over the past year, the committee has visited and toured facilities at Aries Worldwide, Crane Worldwide Logistics, and Deloitte.
