PESA Forms Latin America Regional District – Argentina Chapter

In keeping with its goal of providing support to Members with global operations, PESA is expanding its international presence with the creation of a regional district in Latin America starting with a chapter in Argentina. The Argentina regional district’s mission is to connect with and aid Member Companies with a presence in the area, and to assist those that are looking to move into the region.

The structure of the Argentina chapter will mirror the structure of the PESA Middle East Chapter, aligning the regions energy industry’s oilfield services and equipment sector with local regulatory requirements and business landscape in Argentina. The chapter will promote international best practices and world class industry standards with local and U.S. government organizations to advance member priorities on key industry issues while working and understanding regional regulatory framework and energy policy.

Federico Medrano, Vice President Latin America and Director Argentina, Exterran, will serve as the chapter chair. The new chapter will officially launch in the fall, with a reception on September 24 in Buenos Aires, coordinating with the Argentina Oil and Gas Expo. Click here to register for the event.

In anticipation of the formation of this new chapter, we ask that PESA Member Companies with interest share the following information:

  • Contact information for PESA Members in Argentina who are interested in participating in the chapter
  • Contact information for PESA Members that do not currently have operations in Argentina, but who have interest in exploring opportunities and participating in the chapter.

For additional information, or to share contact information, please contact PESA Vice President Government Affairs Tim Tarpley.
