The Louisiana Chapter of Energy Workforce, led by Chair Deidre Toups, Senior Vice President, Mergers, Acquisitions and Integration with Superior Energy Services hosted a sold-out luncheon in Lafayette, LA on April 29 with bpx energy.

“There is an ever-growing global demand for energy, and oil and gas must continue to be a part of the equation.” Molly Determan, President

The keynote speaker, Patrick Finney, Vice President of Production and Completions with bpx energy discussed their collaboration philosophy with suppliers and engagement priorities. Mr. Finney noted the challenges operators and their suppliers are facing, including commodity price swings, skilled worker availability, and consistency, as well as predictable unpredictability. The need for faster, leaner execution, aligned objectives, strengthened collaboration, and co-innovation is the way to a shared long-term success.
