Energy Workforce to Host Upstream Capital Markets Breakfast Featuring Industry Leaders

Energy Workforce & Technology Council invites members and industry professionals to an Upstream Capital Markets Breakfast on Thursday, April 16, sponsored by Willis Towers Watson. The event, which will be held at the Westin Houston Memorial City, will bring together key voices from across the energy and financial sectors to discuss upstream capital deployment, market trends, and the evolving landscape of investment and M&A activity in the oil and gas industry.

The morning will feature a fireside chat with Eric Marshall, Partner in Investment Banking at TPH & Co., and Bruce Niemeyer, President of Shale & Tight Operations at Chevron. The conversation will explore current dynamics shaping the upstream sector, from capital allocation to operational strategy in key shale basins.

Attendees will also hear insights from Tim Perry, Vice Chairman of Global Energy at RBC Capital Markets. Perry will discuss the state of upstream capital deployment, current merger and acquisition activity, and the availability of equity and debt financing for exploration and production (E&P) companies. With decades of experience advising on major transactions and capital raises across the energy sector, Perry will provide valuable perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.

This breakfast event offers a valuable opportunity for energy professionals to gain market insights, connect with industry leaders, and engage in timely conversations about capital markets shaping the future of upstream energy. Registration is encouraged early as space may be limited.

The Energy Workforce would like to thank Title Sponsor Willis Towers Watson and Strategic Partners Chevron and SLB.
