The Government Affairs Subcommittee works with Energy Workforce staff to advance education-based advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues that impact Members and customers at the state and federal levels. Additionally the committee establishes relationships with elected officials and their staff to expand the reach and influence of the service, supply and manufacturing sector message. This group also convenes executives for congressional dialogues and other local events designed to engage and educate policy makers.
The Subcommittee makes recommendations to be approved by the Policy Committee.
