Council Concludes 2021 Executive Leadership Program

Advanced Business Development Participants

The Energy Workforce & Technology Council’s Executive Leadership Program, hosted by the Emerging Executives Committee, recently concluded its seventh consecutive offering, consisting of more than 100 participants.

The Executive Leadership Program provides an opportunity for high-potential personnel to engage in a structured year-long program that develops leadership skills in preparation for the responsibilities of future roles.

All programs – Advanced Business Development, Engaging Leadership and Strategic & Branded Executive – consisted of individual executive coaching, accountability partner meetings, professional strengths assessments and Council leadership meetings. Many participants also put their knowledge to work by serving on Council Committees and attending quarterly networking events.

Engaging Leadership Participants

One of the most important elements of the program is the mentorship provided by the Council Board and Advisory Board Members, giving participants a unique opportunity to gain strategic career advice and develop valuable relationships with industry leaders.

“I found my mentor to be consistent and have good communication. There are some real-world applications that we’ve worked through. It’s not just coffee talk. There are real-world applications to these sessions.”

Participants who complete all requirements can look forward to a graduation in January 2022.

Pat Lipovski, Found & CEO of Envision Group, an innovative global leader in corporate advising and coaching, led the seminars with co-facilitators.

MEMBER FEEDBACK

“It’s been enlightening. I’ve been doing this for 32 years. I didn’t think I knew everything, but the biggest value I’ve taken so far has been learning about perspective and applying feedback.”

Executive Leadership Program Participant

“I’ve touted this class to our senior leadership as being a very good investment. I’m hoping a lot of other folks in our company get involved in this, because it has far exceeded my expectations.”
