PESA’s 2019 Executive Leadership Program, hosted by the Emerging Executives Committee, held four mid-year seminars at Caterpillar in Houston September 10-12, and September 18 in the Permian Basin at Weir Oil & Gas.
The Executive Leadership Program provides an opportunity for high-potential personnel to engage in a structured year-long program that develops leadership skills in preparation for the responsibilities of future roles.
All programs – Advanced Business Development, Engaging Leadership and Executive Presence – consisted of individual executive coaching, accountability partner meetings, professional strengths assessments and PESA leadership meetings. Many participants also put their knowledge to work by serving on PESA Committees and attending quarterly networking events.
One of the most important elements of the program is the mentorship provided by the PESA Board and Advisory Board Members, giving participants a unique opportunity to gain strategic career advice and develop valuable relationships with industry leaders. Participants who complete all requirements can look forward to a graduation reception in January 2020.
