PESA is pleased to announce the 2018 Annual Meeting will feature keynote speaker General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) on Wednesday, April 25.
Powell was the 65th Secretary of State under President George W. Bush. He led the State Department and used the power of diplomacy to build trust, forge alliances and help transform unstable regions into areas with the potential to prosper. He will discuss “Diplomacy: Persuasion, Trust & Values” with a question-and-answer session following the speech.
Powell began his Army career in 1958 and eventually rose to the rank of four-star general. He also served as National Security Advisor under President Ronald Reagan and was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for both President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton. He was the first African-American to serve in all those positions.

The 2018 PESA Annual Meeting runs from April 25-27 at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds in Greensboro, GA. The theme is “Emerging Opportunities for the Upstream Industry” and leading industry executives will address upstream perspectives, shale business models, market analysis and outlooks in environmental, social and governance (ESG).
