On May 5, PESA partnered with the Argentina-Texas Chamber of Commerce to host a cocktail reception to kick off the Offshore Technology Conference.
The reception, which brought in more than 350 industry professionals from around the world, provided PESA with a platform to shed light on the benefits of the Association, as well as meet and network with individuals representing a wide array of companies and organizations.
The following day, PESA participated in an educational seminar also hosted by the Argentina-Texas Chamber. PESA Vice President Government Affairs Tim Tarpley sat on a three-person panel discussion regarding the oil and gas industry. The presentation began by introducing the audience to PESA and providing an overview of the Association, before taking a deep-dive into the oilfield services and equipment sector’s presence in Argentina.
He discussed the impact innovation has on the industry as well as the sector’s vital role in advancing technology. Following the presentation, he was able to answer numerous questions and participate in a productive dialogue with audience members.
Also on the panel was Jean Rossi, Vice President for Commercial Americas, TechnipFMC. Other PESA Member Companies that participated in the two events were American Block Manufacturing Company, Baker Hughes, a GE company, DistributionNOW, M&M Forgings, Rubicon Oilfield International, Schlumberger, Superior Energy Services, and Weir Oil & Gas.
