OTC Roundup: PESA Hosts U.S. Delegation, Member Visits

PESA hosted U.S. delegation visits during the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) this month. The delegation included U.S. Ambassador to Norway, Kenneth Braithwaite; U.S. Ambassador to Angola, Nina Maria Fite; Deputy Chief of Mission to Oman, Stephanie Hallett and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Oil & Natural Gas Shawn Bennett, Department of Energy.

The delegation met with PESA Chair Richard Alabaster, President – Surface Technologies, at the TechnipFMC booth and heard from Clay Williams, Chairman, President & CEO at NOV. The delegation finished their visit at the Baker Hughes, a GE company and Caterpillar booths.

Both U.S. and international delegations request PESA Member booth visits each year at OTC to meet with U.S. companies and gain a better understanding of oilfield services, equipment and technology used in the sector.

PESA was proud to support our Members during the conference, and PESA President Leslie Beyer and Vice President Strategy & Programs Molly Determan visited the booths of several Member Companies, including PESA Chairman Emeritus Paul Coppinger, Division President, Weir Oil & Gas; PESA Advisory Board Member Kyle Chapman, President – Production Segment, Weatherford; PESA Advisory Board Member Santosh Mathilakath, President & CEO, LoneStar Group; and Rylan Ardoin, Director of Drilling, Steve Ratcliffe, Sales Manager, and Jose Rubin, Director of Well Services, all of Gardner Denver.
