The Energy Workforce & Technology Council’s Executive Leadership Program, Engaging Leadership participants met last week to launch the year-long training program. The inaugural Middle East session and third-year Permian course kicked off virtually with an overview of how the program would help strengthen their leadership skills and refine various leadership strategies.
The programs were led by trainers from Envision Group. They engaged participants in discussions, Q&A sessions, and small group conversations that allowed deeper exploration of leadership topics.
“I’m looking forward to sharpening my overall skill set as a leader,” said one participant. “Improving my confidence as a leader and strengthening communication strategies within my organization is definitely a goal.”
“I am excited to learn how to better self-assess in addition to assessing others,” said another participant.
Both Permian and Middle East participants will engage in remote networking sessions with the Council’s Emerging Executives Committee throughout the year. The virtual format will allow participants to engage more with the other Executive Leadership Program cohorts for the first time in the program’s history. The continued virtual format will enable participants to attend Council webinars and townhalls to meet a portion of their graduation requirements.
The Permian and Middle East groups are due to join their Executive Leadership Program counterparts at a quarterly networking event on March 23.
The Executive Leadership Program is re-opening the Engaging Leadership course on April 14. Register to attend now!
